I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy student, CSCS-certified strength coach, and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for a volleyball club. I build specialized online performance training for volleyball athletes. My goal is to help you jump higher, perform better, and stay healthy for the entire season and the years after it.

The Story

Why I do this

I was a shorter hitter who wanted to jump higher. Nobody handed me a program or told me how to train, so I had to figure it out myself. I spent years of trial and error trying to add inches to my vertical so I could compete with bigger players. That journey led me to the evidence-based principles of sports science and physical therapy I use today.

That experience shaped how I coach. I know what it feels like to feel limited by your athleticism and not know how to fix it. I’ve spent years running clinics, coaching athletes, and building programs that actually work. I earned my CSCS certification because I wanted the highest standard of evidence behind every program I write. I’ve coached athletes to 40-inch verticals and currently serve as Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for a volleyball club.

Combining my physical therapy training with strength and conditioning means I don’t just write workouts. I understand why your body moves the way it does, where the limiting factors are, and how to build a program that improves your vertical while keeping you healthy and on the court.

I built Urvil Performance to be the resource I wish I had when I was starting out. Clinical injury prevention combined with elite-level performance training so volleyball athletes can reach their ceiling without the guesswork.
